**Given**

A cylindrical rod of radius 30 cm and length 40cm. is melted and made into spherical ball of radius 1cm.

**Concept used**

Volume of cylinder = πr^{2}h

Volume of sphere = 4/3 πr^{3}

**Calculation**

Length of cylindrical rod = 40 cm

Radius = 30 cm

Volume = π × 30 × 30 × 40

Volume of one spherical ball = 4/3 πr^{3}

⇒ 4/3 π × 1 × 1 × 1

Number of spherical ball = Volume of rod / volume of 1 spherical ball

⇒ \(\frac{{\pi × 30 × 30 × 40}}{{\frac{4}{3}\pi }}\)

⇒ 30 × 30 × 3 × 10

∴ Ans = **27000**
