sorry, but this game is unbearable. all you do is uncover secrets... aka click on a block of time and then try to remember what the time block said.

Its also... hideous? the cutscenes are pretty, but the game itself looks horrible. I hated having to stare at this game.

its beautiful to look at, and the soundtrack is great... but this game doesn't really have any meat on its bones. I found it incredibly boring and easy.

its great! its fun and really cool. its one of those games that finagles with your computer, and it does it very very well. I found myself getting very invested and wanting to play it again and again. also, plug in a second monitor if you can!!

my only complaint is that the plot makes absolutely no sense. while it's definitely scary, it kind of.... has no reason to be?? it feels very shoehorned and pointless. that being said, its horror is very well executed! its just... random and pointless.

overall i'd say this is a MUST PLAY game, and it's a steal at its current price. I loved it

Its good. In fact, its damn good. Its extremely immersive with tons of replayability. I had a blast with NG+ and after playing hours of it every day for a week straight I still am not sick of it. Not even to mention this is still in early access! I’m so excited to experience all of the game’s future content! Of course, it has its weaknesses. You don't have many goals to work towards outside of the main quest; and you may find yourself with little incentive to participate in all that the game has to offer. (especially during NG+) That being said, these didn't affect my enjoyment of the game very much, if at all. Its fun, exciting, and the story is excellent. I had a blast.

it became very quickly apparent that I would not like this game. I'm sure there would be something for me had I played longer, but the core of the game itself is so unfun and frankly quite boring that the whole "ooh that was something, lets keep playing" vibe never once kicked in. In other tough-as-nails games, when I die I go "ooh I gotta keep trying" but in Rain World I just felt... nothing. Not even frustration.

Like I said, i'm sure if i just kept going I would find something to appreciate, but the game gave me personally no reason to continue playing.

This game is absolutely fantastic!

I've been a huge fan off the Weather Factory, and this entry to their library is an absolute treat. It is comparable to cultist simulator; but more relaxed and foirgiving. You take the role of the newest librarian to the Hush House and use the elements of your soul to learn, collaborate, and expand. Creating tinctures from the very essence of the house itself, warding off spirits blocking your entrance into new rooms, sharing tea with your neighbor... all extremely enjoyable. When I figured out how to combine elements of my soul, I literally leapt out of my chair from satisfaction.

You will slam your head against this game over and over again, and I still have much much more to play and discover, but i have never been bored. The gears are turning and i love it.

My one complaint is that the UI takes some getting used to. It's very easy to misplace something or forget you started another thing.
