Relaxing game

I think this game is highly under-rated. The story, puzzles, and atmosphere are so creative. The puzzles are all different and again, very very creative. I play a lot of adventure games and there are some puzzles in this I've never come across before. Even if the puzzle mechanic is simple, the way it's applied in the game takes it to the next level. The puzzle is tied nicely into the story, it's not just a thing you need to do to move on.

If you play on a laptop...be prepared to rip your hair out on the puzzle with the overlay swords. This is not laptop friendly if you don't have a mouse. I finally gave up and had to grab a wireless mouse. If you are expecting a casual game, you might get some extra difficulty playing on a laptop with trackpad. I play these kind of games BECAUSE I expect them to be easy to play on my laptop without a mouse. Pretty disappointed at that point.

This was my favorite of the three. It flowed well and made sense as far as what needed to be done with the puzzles.

This game was my most memorable game after I went to college. My memory is awful but I started watching someone else play this and I remembered everything like it was yesterday. It's just one that sticks with you. It's just so different...in a good way! It's definitely worth a play.

Froze on me in the first few minutes...plus you need to create an account to play this. Would not recommend this game.

Stuttery graphics...the game actually played better when I put the graphics up. Normally not a huge issue but when you have to do a task that requires you to move the cursor with some accuracy to scan an object for a period of time, then it's an absolute nightmare. I've had this game on my wishlist for the longest time and I finally picked it up. I really regret it. I do not recommend it. The story had potential but this developer unfortunately relied on mechanics that I feel were flawed and what could have been a passable game just turned into something that felt like nails on a chalkboard when you played it.

It was great to come back to this game after so many years and have it be just as fun to play as the first time.

I bought this game with an expectation that it would be as good as the others in the series. I played this game hoping it would get better. I finished the game elated that the effing thing was done.

I hated this game.

The dialog was way way way too much. Sometimes you skip dialog when it's getting a little long and you've got the gist of it. With this game I skipped a vast majority of it because it offered absolutely nothing other than to waste time. Speaking of time...the game has this WONDERFUL (read: awful) mechanic, where you had to go back in time and replay what you'd already done. Using this mechanic one or two times this would have been ok but they kept using it and I felt like I was replaying the game over and over and over again.

The humor in this game was disgusting. There was actually a point in the game that made me physically gag it was so gross.

The fact that I finished the game and got almost all the achievements has led me to the conclusion that I must be a masochist. There's no other explanation for this.
