A really good use of UE4 tools to quickly display what can we possible get in future Gothic sequel\prequel\remake game.

The quality of this alfa is on a decent level even tho it has quite a lot to polish. My score was 1650 at the end with all the quests done and all big monsters defeated (some bugs skipped).

Theres just no reason to talk about bugs, glitches or things that you can report thru the feedback form so I`ll just indicate those thingies that me personally don`t like:

1. Colors, isn`t Gothic supposed to be uhm Gothic? More Dark, Grayish? Current color scheme is mostly anticipated for a reason and I definitely join the community on this.
2. Styles. We all love Gothic for being one of not so many "Classic European RPG school" representatives, so I don`t like how armor, weapons look like. It feels like we are somewhere in mediterrain, and thats now what this game is appreciated for.
3. WUT Bloodwin is now a negroid? Why? Whats the purpose? If you guys are following on this mass-psychosis with pleasing the mentally sick minorities "that are not even games in 99% of the time", than you are making a fatal mistake straight from the begining. Or you meant Torus instead of Bloodwin?
4. Diego`s voiceact is just horrible, it`s extremely slow, unnatural and felt like he`s trying to explain something to a total degenerate.
5. Main hero is way to self-confident and totaly lost his sense of humor which breakes the plot and fails to immers heavily.
6. I feel no hate for fighting system since this is just what they used on a quick-hand using the engine tools, I understand. The only issue I found that it needs a lot of polishing since I managed to understand how to abuse it with literally any AI in less than 2 hours of gameplay, current evade system is an absolute OP based on its stamina costs.
7. Why would you need to make main hero look this different? Doesnt remake means that you still try to keep the plot? This is not how my favorite character of all time looked like. Instead of funny, pragmatic and adventure friendly guy.
We now have some red-head sarcatic selfish Brit = Absolute fail in approach.


In general, this is a really interesting way to talk with the community and If you`ll not fail listening to our fan-base we might have a game of our dreams come true.

Result: I can and will play this with pleasure,IF you`ll work more on characters and voice acting because in current state - it left no mark in me. Felt nothing for the main hero except disgust, and Diego looks like most Cliche Hispanic dude ever, rly?
