Fun memories from back in the day.

Was weirdly satisfying to shoot an Antlion guard for 10 minutes with 10 other people.

As other reviews have pointed out before - your choices, save for very, VERY few, do not make a difference at all.

And even the few choices that do make a difference don't change the story overall. It always boils down to the choice between 2 characters, one of them will die, the other will not.

It's fine if you are a fan of Game of Thrones, but do not pay overpriced Keys for it (since it's not available on the Store anymore), it's not worth it.

I can't say much about the Game itself yet, it will take a while to properly play it. See other reviews for Gameplay reviews.

All I can say is it's running absolutely smooth and (so far) not a single crash.

It's simple, it's fun. You make ice cream (sundaes) for customers, different customers want different sundaes.

There are free versions on the internet that you can try. They are the same game, but with less content. The gameplay loop is the same though.

It really scratches the "Papers, Please" itch, plus there's more to do than Papers, Please, for example you can only hold a certain number of prisoners, so if you arrest a few people you have to spend some time to bring them to a work camp.

All in all I recommend it, but there are some negatives too.
First of all: there is no Endless Mode. There is a 30 day campaign, and so far that's it. (Do note that the Developer already said that they work on implementing an Endless Mode, but for the time being it's not here.)

The game graphically also does not look very appealing (even on Ultra Settings). I dont mind, since I dont need good graphics to have fun checking documents, but it's important to note for people who might be turned off by this.

But it's safe to say: if you enjoyed Papers, Please, you will like this game as well.

Bought this immediately simply because this Developer deserves all the Support.

The game isnt bad. It's fun, mowing down enemies is satisfying, the weapons feel good, the sound effects are great, the guns sound like actual guns. If you liked Vermintide (2), you will most likely like this too.

So why am I giving it a thumbs down? Because there are quite a few crashes. The first couple of hours were fine, then the crashes started. To the games credit: if you crash in the middle of the game and start it again you get the option to reconnect to your previous game, so far no problems with it.

Many people also complain about the performance issues, I have a 3080, an I9 10900K, and 32 GB ram. If i turn everything the game has to offer up... yes, it's not great, but honestly, just turning off raytracing made everything run smoothly, and it doesnt look any worse, so personally its fine for me.

The only thing that really bugs me currently are the crashes, so here's to hope this gets fixed until release. If it does I will change the review accordingly.

This game was my childhood. I dont even remember how many times I played through it.

Just keep in mind that it aged... poorly, especially when it comes to the controls. I still have them basically memorized, but anyone who has never played this might struggle a bit.

That said: it is absolutely worth it. Wonderful RPG, 3 factions to join, and Melee, Ranged and/or Magic Combat. Anything you want in an old RPG.

Gothic 2 is even better.

I dont really like the armor, but I bought it anyway because those Packs basically fund the free updates, and I want to support the Devs.
