I binged the base game in an afternoon and will probably pick up the DLC. If you like mysteries then this will be a fun game to play. I recommend going in blind and not using any hints. You can do it. I believe in you.

A short enjoyable horror experience with heavy influence from folklore. If you like this game, you should check out Yuppie Psycho.

I couldn't figure out how to get past the tutorial and gave up.

Finally, a CRPG that provides the opportunity for the player to actually roleplay the bad guy. Most other CRPGs have only one main route through their storyline in which the protagonist saves the world from the big bad and the player is railroaded into being the hero even if they are roleplaying an evil character. Also, in many CRPGs, the "evil" dialogue options just make the player character seem like more of a jerk than a villain. The writing of Tyranny tackles both of these problems very well.

A gem from the late Troika Games, famous for the complexity of their RPGs. VtM is a paper & pencil RPG masquerading as a FPS.

A worthy successor to the original.
