So full disclaimer, I was a tester for this game, but all of these opinions are my own.

Resonite is not just a game, rather it's sort of like Garry's mod if you combined it with VRchat, but a little more then that. Someone can literally spawn an item that can make you walk on walls, stuff like that. Another cool thing to know is that stuff like Avatars, worlds and items are not separate. They can all interact with eachother, making it possible to do things that you wouldn't think are possible.

One of the coolest thing though is that you can create things in real time, with people live. Have a problem with your avatar? Someone can help you fix it, in game! No SDK, no having to download another program, it's all in game.

You can also just drag in files to import them, like models and such and they should just work (with a bit of set up). What's cool too is: Wanna show a friend a youtube video? Copy paste the link into the game itself and bam! A video player spawns!

Granted Resonite can be a bit hard to use, as the UI is a little complex, and needs a whole ton of improvement.

But it has a lot of potential and I can't wait to see where it grows from here. Performance right now is one of the pain points, but the game is in very active development, and gets updates constantly, The game is improving every day, and I have a lot of faith in the development team, they actually care about the game, and the community and it's really neat to see that.

Just reviewing because i'll be part of the first 100 reviewers lol, but will update this review when i play more. It's fun so far! Very similar to Boneworks.

EDIT: November 2022

Played through the game, honestly, story was shorter then I expected but honestly it was still okay, but I was seriously looking forward to the mod support.

I tried Bonelab content creation and it's very straightforward when it comes to porting avatars over, and i'm impressed at how easy it was! Granted, finger rotations can get funny but that's a minor issue, and it's something you need to fix in blender when getting an avatar in, but no big deal.

I have yet to try other things, but this is what I bought the game for, to MOD it.

Now, multiplayer would be great too in the future, would be cool to see! That and full body tracking support.

After a long time (2 year development freeze) the real developers have left, and went to make their own game called Resonite.

Karel Hulec has ruined this platform. He's the CEO who continuously pushes cryptocurrency on people, and will not give up. Neos's reputation is gone, and without the developers... I don't see a future for Neos.

The game itself is incredible, however it is soured by the money-hungry CEO. I really don't recommend you play this game.

This game was amazing. It's the best VR game i have ever played! If you have a vr headset, get this game.

I played this game on my i5 4460 and gtx 1060 6gb rig, though my CPU is under the minimum requirements, it was still amazing. I was playing on a Quest with Oculus link, which the game did feel pretty fine, but there were some sections where it did lag quite a bit. Especially the upgrade machines seem to be especially lag-prone, I don't know why. but, it was very enjoyable, and i'm kind of sad it's over! I highly recommend it! I'll probably replay this game with new specs though in the future.
