This is pretty much my very first Monster Hunter game. I've played i think maybe 1 Hour of Monster Hunter World before this and while I'm sure if i'd given it more time i would've loved it, it didn't really grab me nearly as much or as fast as Wilds did.

So far i adore everything about this game, its been running (for the most part) perfectly smooth with 0 frame drops and is packed with so much charm, content, style, and care to both world detail and game play that despite being close to hitting 100 hours it feels like I've only just started the game.

While the story of this game isn't much to call home about i really did enjoy it and i ADORED how it actually felt like we were on a kind of research expedition and we weren't playing as a mindless trophy hunter but someone who actually cared for the ecosystem and wanted to protect it!

Overall I think if you have a decent computer and the money its def worth it, and i would say at least giving it a under 2 hours try if you're wary.

(And if you're a friend of mine you should 100% buy it plsplsplsplspls)

Unbelievably beautiful game with a great art style and overwhelmingly lovable characters, at this point i've gone through the games a good amount of times just to get all the endings. You should absolutely check out this game its worth every penny and much more in my opinion.
