This game was clearly designed for VR, but if you adjust the controls a little and get used to them, it plays really well with a regular controller (or mouse and keyboard).

Even though Double Peace remains the gold standard in this franchise in terms of secrets, side objectives and the like, 2 is a worthy follow-up. The new mission types are a welcome addition, the search one being my favorite of the two. Bosses could be much better and offer more variety, and I mourn the loss of special events and stat management... The calendar system is alright, nothing too special, but story-wise it lets them do something different this time, so that's good.

Every character introduced in this game is great. The writing is very good, and it often hits with unexpectedly hilarious lines after making you drop your guard. If you liked the stories in the previous two games, you'll like this too.
