It's hard to say because they are essentially non-verbal; they don't communicate in straightforward words. I've had a lot of people make the "mafia hit sign" at me (finger held against the side of the nose), and some ridiculous ambiguous talk like "I have friends in New York City" or "I call up Robin Lakoff and [bother her with stupid questions]", as well as threats like "THEY'LL KILL YOU!" (WHO will kill me? They never said) and "You're gonna die on Friday, come to New York City" and a wickedly said "WHAT DO YOU KNOW?" as if anyone could answer such an open-ended question intelligently (What do I know about what??) But never, EVER, any straightforward talk. Not ever, not even once. I think they are paranoid that I walk around with a tape recorder recording every conversation that people have with me 24-7.

The bottom line is these are sick people.
