I absolutely love the XCOM franchise, and I've been playing since the Firaxis reboot. The reason I'm leaving such a negative review is the absolutely abysmal 2K Launcher which has: collected usage data without permission, updated without permission, and now, as of 3/21/23, completely broken, rendering me unable to access a game I paid full price for (not that it would be ok if I'd gotten it on sale or anything). I would recommend that anyone considering this bear in mind that as of 2023, you'll need to install and run fan-made extensions simply to restore the game's ability to function. Fall off a cliff, 2K, and enjoy the sensation of flight before you hit the ground.
