Max Payne 2: the fall of max Payne is a 3rd person shooter. This game offers a lot of fun moments with bullet time and a good plot. Combined with that classic feel of a Remedy game in terms of the environment. You are more than welcome to explore the levels and discover small extra pieces of the plot. Max is a great protagonist and the story telling is nearly top notch in this game. The comic book like cut scenes is a very nice touch that I wish they would have used in Max Payne 3.

I have to credit fromsoft for making a pc port that works very well. I've had absolutly no issues with this game and the fps is very smooth. If you play dark souls for the pve exp than you'll have a good time. A hard time, but a good time. Creative levels and boss fights that are nightmares to beat add to the overall feel of helplessness you'll often get. The story is very obscure and you'll require afew playthroughs before you start to peice things together, much like dark souls 1. The only negetive that I can find is pvp is unbalanced. I often get killed by bad clipping. Spell casters can fire soul arrows that miss me by 5 feet and still damage my health and cause me to flinch. Cheap glitch esqe backstabs are on the menu as well. Overall this game is pretty good.

I wanted to play an old classic but this is not what it seems. I simply cannot get the game to work on my monitor. The resolution requriments are so off-the wall that I can no longer run the game anywhere above 3 frames per second. It's unplayable for me. Be careful if you are looking to buy this game on anything at or above windows 7.

I've always loved the legacy of kain games. Blood omen 2 is a classic to me because of Kain himself, the enviroment, the sound, and the gameplay. It has aged fairly decent considering this game was released in 2002. The only downfall of the pc version is that it has a tendency to crash.
