HOW TO GET THIS GAME TO PLAY IN WINDOWS 10:

-Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Combat Wings\movies
-Delete the movies folder, this removes the intro video which causes the startup crash.

Note: If you want to watch the intro video, you can also move the folder away and open it with a media player. I used VLC player.

ACTUAL REVIEW:

If you like Dogfight 1942, this is the first game in the series. There are 21 missions all around the Battle of Midway era in WW2, so no P50 Mustangs. The sequel to this game is Combat Wings: Battle of Britain. This game isn't too hard to beat. There is no need to play the game on Hardest difficulty. You unlock nothing. I beat it on Normal.

COMBAT WINGS SERIES CONFUSION:

It is also titled as "Combat Wings Battle of the Pacific". Do not get confused. There are only three games in this series. Dogfight 1942 being the last released. The controls on keyboard and mouse is easily playable.

CI INTERACTIVE SUGGESTION:
Just wish CI Games expanded more into this game series universe. Would be refreshing if they do Italian campaign beginning of the war.
