Ships, Planes, Tanks, what's more to ask? (besides Skink gaijin pls). Whether you have all the time in the world or just a quick break you can hop in and start doing stuff. A variety of vehicles from different nations can be taken out onto the battlefield ranging from utterly useless to a brutal seal clubber.

Now, currently after 3,500 hours of playing, here's a list of things that are or have become issues.

- Map designs: Most of them have been and still are quite unfair for one side or another, and don't really give off an engaging experience.

- Battle Rating compression: Each vehicle has a BR, for matches, vehicles it a full bracket can face each other (i.e. BR 4.7 can face BR 5.7 or BR 3.7). Due to Gaijin's brilliant balancing it makes some tanks on the low end of a bracket outright useless compared to others, which generally isn't a nice experience.

- The grind: War Thunder is one hella grindy game, and with a recent patch, top tier tanks are harder to use. Essentially you have to suffer through days or even week of grinding to get to top tier, then have to suffer again using them stock (without any modifications that are necessary to perform well).

- Single Missions: Now these aren't as much of a prominent issue with War Thunder since it's a multiplayer game, but it still exists. Officially, only plane missions exist, which have slowly become more broken and impossible to complete due to changes in plane mechanics over the years. Nothing has been done to fix the missions.

- Too much being added: At first this sounds like a good thing, but in terms of WT, it's quite annoying and frustrating. Many problems exist in the base game already but instead of fixing them, Gaijin just adds more nations, bad maps, and more recently, modern era vehicles, which are now at the top tier.

Overall, I can still recommend this game especially for people who like WWII vehicles, I find them to be slightly more balanced and a lot easier to grind for. This review may change again if Gaijin decides to fix or ultimately further ruin the game. 7/10
