I like hardcore survival games, so this game is not the kind I'd usually pick up. Even still, I loved Bugsnax. This is the kind of game where you can play for hours, and then dream of it when you go to bed. This is one of my top 10s, and after I finished it, passed the remote to my girlfriend for her turn to play through. I'd really recommend this to all of my friends, no matter their genre preferences.

Bugsnax is a unique take on the monster-hunting genre. You collect monsters, called Bugsnax, that are essentially a combination of food + bug. Each bugsnax has unique ways to capture them, and most of them can be captured in more than one way. It's creative, chill, and it's easy to become invested in all the characters you meet.

This is the first game I have ever unlocked all the achievements for, and I wish I could relive the experience again. 10/10.
