More than a simple retro inspired game, it simply is a great game on it's own
the rayman 3 style vertex painted visuals are so on point, the world is abstract yet sparks that curiosity to explore every corner and it's big but not asset based, you can see each structure is individually modelled to fit the place just like in the early 2000s before asset store model packs flooded the market.
And the squash and stretch on the characters 👌

I was expecting dark messiah of might and magic and instead of dark messiah of can't see ♥♥♥♥ it's so dark
but it's a nice game either way

it's wholesome, made me stop for moments to reflect

(some minigames feel unnecessary like clicking on the restaurants... )

Extremelly funny, relatable and smart.
Well written in such a way that you will be having fun the moment you begin, and I love it for that.
