Early Access Review
First and foremost I've played probably tens of thousands of hours in Path of Exile, completed everything from deep delves to Uber Ubers. Let me be clear - Path of Exile 2 is a game that took everything successful from its predecessor and threw it out the window so that it could try to be the 'Get Good' Dark souls meme. While it says I have three hours in Path of Exile 2, I ended up downloading the stand-alone client because I had so many crashes in the steam client.

You move slower than a snail in molasses with no mobility, no movement speed increases.

You spend 80% of your time in combat dodge rolling to eventually attack once.

Again the game wants to be Dark Souls, but it's hit boxes are drawn by a five year old.

Animations are insanely long, and clunky.

Due to scaling, and it's quick animation Default Attack with supports is actually the best thing for melee classes. I am not joking.

Loot in a loot game is rarer than ever.

Loot you do find you have to decide if you want to sell for 1/10th's of a gamble at decent item or an tragic amount of gold that can't even cover the cost of a fraction of a re-spec for a single passive.

Flasks are more like Dark Souls Estus Flasks than a ARPG Healing Potion with little to no ability to actually increase your charges.

Having played the campaign for Path of Exile over 200 times through various characters and leagues, I can't even imagine trying to play this again just after doing three acts. This game needs MAJOR overhauls from a design perspective and fast.

Purchased the game after coming home for work to play with the boys. Servers down, for two days... worth nothing if you can't play it. Any developer who can't launch a game in this day and age is a big yikes.
