A GxB/G visual novel where you play as Alex, a college nursing student, who gets into the urbex scene. The art is nice and the music really fits with the spooky buildings that most of the story takes place in. I really enjoyed the concept of urban exploring being used for the various settings. That being said... I found the characters and their interactions with one another to be rather dull. The protagonist in particular was a real bore. In addition to that, everything the story presented felt extremely rushed to the point that I was constantly in a state of whiplash from the unfolding events.

There are 3 romantic options, one female and two male. I think each route only has one ending, as it didn't seem like choosing the "wrong answers" seemed to change anything. I must admit that I started skimming after realizing I wasn't really enjoying myself and may have missed some text changes. It took me close to an hour to finish reading one route normally, and then skim my way through the rest.

This game is free and has easy achievements, so give it a try if you're really interested. I can't personally recommend it though. I guest it's okay, it's not particularly offensive in any way, but I don't see myself ever replaying it or even remembering anything about it other than the urbex settings.

A B/G/NBxB/G/NB dating sim/dungeon crawler where you play as an individual (you get to choose pronouns and appearance) visiting your cousin's place for the summer in an attempt to gain some confidence in dating. To gain that confidence you have to literally fight your fears inside dungeons using a cast of conveniently single human-weapons. While I did enjoy playing this game for the most part, it ultimately feels like it was released in an unfinished state. There are a lot of great ideas here, but none of them are fully executed to the extent that I believe they should or could be.

There are 7 romance/friendship options available: 1 female, 4 male, and 2 nonbinary. As far as I can tell each romance/friendship only has one ending and the overall story has a single ending. There might be different endings for friendship vs romance but I couldn't really determine which characters were on which ending if that was the case. It took me about 8 hours in total to complete all romance/friendships, both dungeons, and the main story.

If there was a neutral rating for reviews I'd use it for this game. Since that doesn't exist, I'm going to be optimistic and give it a thumbs up based on what it could become in future updates. I paid full price $19.99(USD) for this game, but in it's current state I'm not sure I could advise spending that much on it. Perhaps wait for a sale or for more content to be added/updated first.

A B/G/NBxB/G visual novel where you play as a young witch returning to help run their grandparent's coffee shop. You get to chose your name, pronouns, and body type at the beginning. As for the story itself, it's pretty short, but well written, with some cute art, nice music, and lovely aesthetics. It does feel like it could be fleshed out more in a lot of areas, but overall it's an enjoyable read.

There are 2 romantic choices, one male and one female, with 3 endings. The female romantic route only has one ending and is significantly shorter than the male romantic route. Honestly it feels unfinished, which really sucks because I found it more interesting than the male choice. Meanwhile the male romantic path is longer and features both good and bad endings. It took me a bit over an hour to read everything while skipping read text.

This game is free and an easy 100% for achievement hunters. I recommend it despite the routes not getting equal story attention. Be warned though, if you're only playing for the female romantic route, you'll most likely end up disappointed.

A GxB visual novel where you play as a student, Ayu, who just wants to get along with her classmates. The art is really cute and it's aesthetically pleasing, but that's where the positives end. The story/characterization was extremely lacking in my opinion. I ended up skimming through a lot of it, hoping that something would eventually draw me in, but it never happened. The game warns you before it starts that there are going to be serious topics included, however it feels like, from the parts I did read, it doesn't take these topics very seriously at all. Almost like they're just included in a poor attempt to make things more interesting.

There are 6 romance options and 12 endings (a love and a friendship ending for each character). It took me about 45 minutes to half read/skim through all of the routes and endings.

The game is free, but the only reason I'd recommend it is for the easy achievements.

A GxB visual novel about an amnesiac girl who wakes up locked inside a mysterious mansion filled with monsters. She encounters several young men who find themselves in the same predicament and the group of them are forced to work together in order to not only regain their lost memories, but also to find a way to escape. The art, voice acting, music, story and characters are all excellent. Something that sets this apart from other visual novels is the inclusion of a flowchart selection screen that makes it very easy to swap between various branches of the story without needing to skip through text you've already seen.

There are 5 romance options and a total of 12 endings. It took me a little over 10 hours to read through everything and obtain all of the CGs/achievements.

I got this game on sale for $14.99(USD). The full price for this is $29.99(USD)... which I think has kinda become about the standard price for vns of this quality and length. I highly recommend this game whether you want to pay full price or wait for a sale.

A musical puzzle adventure game where you play as a group of animals on a quest to free their friends. The hand-drawn art gives the game a unique look akin to something you'd see in an abstract art museum and the music is quite relaxing.

This game took me about 15 minutes to play through.

It is a free and interesting little distraction. I recommend it if you want something light and simple to play for a bit.

A minimalistic puzzle game with an electrical circuit theme. The gameplay is simple and the music is lovely. Overall very relaxing... until you open up any of the menus. The UI is horrible and thus makes doing anything outside of playing the basic game (such as creating a level or editing a music playlist) an absolute nightmare.

This game has 62 levels and even more if you include the fan made levels in the workshop. I played through 20 or so of them before I decided to stop. It took me about 20 minutes to do 20 levels.

If this game were paid(and apparently it was in the past) I wouldn't recommend it. The menus are a mess and the workshop upload is finicky at best. That being said it's currently free and if you ignore everything but the puzzles, it works fine and is actually a pleasant experience... so I'll recommend it based on the puzzle/relaxing music bit alone. Everything else would get a big red thumbs down from me.

A short sci-fi visual novel about an android, Kyuu, that must decide the fate of humanity after spending a day among humans. Honestly it's a bit closer to being a kinetic novel than visual seeing as there's only one choice to be made... anyway, I really liked that while the story is comical in nature it still has an underlying serious message about humanity's impact on the world.

There are two endings to this game and it took me about 30 minutes to read through everything.

It's a free and interesting read, and an easy 100% for achievement hunters, so I recommend it.

A humorous horror themed GxB visual novel in which you play as a girl, Penni, who decides to investigate a supposedly abandoned hotel that turns out to not be so abandoned after all. The story is written in a very to-the-point style that is refreshing when you compare it to how wordy some visual novels can be. The thing I liked about it the most was the minimal overlap between the routes and how playing through it once doesn't get you the whole story.

There are 3 romantic choices and a ton of endings. Mostly bad death-related ones at that. I played for a little over 2 hours and managed to find 14 of them(and I'm sure I missed some).

This visual novel is free and I recommend it to anyone who wants a goofy adventure filled with supernatural shenanigans and tons of random death.

A very short kinetic novel where you walk towards a light... and that's about it really. There's some narration about life that plays as you walk, but in my opinion, it isn't particularly interesting or thought-provoking.

It takes about a minute or so to read through. It honestly took longer to download than to play... and even longer letting it idle (to hit the 5 minute mark) in order to write this review.

I don't recommend this unless you want the easy achievement. There's not really anything here of note, basically half the game is in the screenshots on the steam page.
