I was rather skeptical of Hollow Knight at first but only halfway through the game I realised it had become one of my top 3 games of all time. This is a masterpiece of a game, so good you'll feel bad you only paid $15 for it. Beautiful art and music, engaging story that you really have to seek out to find, (mostly) fun bosses and bossfights, a massive world to explore, and cool abilities to unlock. After the first few hours the game becomes less linear and you can follow multiple paths. I'm truly entranced by this game.

WARNING: This game is quite difficult, probably harder than Cuphead and Celeste if you include all of the DLC content the game has to offer. You have been warned.
