Now that Sony stepped back, I can give an actual review. Broadly speaking, the game is great. BUT, there are some caveats to that. First, the balance is both constantly changing, and slow to change. This goes hand in hand with point 2, bugs, and not the kind we kill for their fluids: new ones all the time, and it can be awhile before they get fixed. Third, the gameplay itself may not be your cup of tea, as it is both online focused, and can involve lots of you dying. Finally, a large amount of information is just only given to the player on the discord server, which is frankly, an awful decision. Arrowhead, please give us an "Advanced Stats" toggle, instead of just "Light Armor Piercing".

So. Why do I think you should get the game? It's gunplay feels fine enough, and the actual moment to moment action is decent, but the peaks? When a moment hits right, and you got ragdolled over a wall to your certain death, so you just give your all while screaming "DEMOCRACY" into your mic? It's solid gold. Further the broader storytelling through the battle map and dispatches is something few other games match.

This game is utterly fantastic, with the minor flaw of the willpower system not being very clear how you regain it unless you have the setting to know what the outcomes of actions will be on. While the developers encourage you to play with that on, it feels to go against the point of making some of these kinds of choices when it is apparent what they do. On the other hand, the game outright stating what the possible outcomes for a chapter are, and how to get them, make knowing extremely helpful, and I feel more than balance out that gripe. The writing is fantastic, and I honestly feel like this is one of the best games in it's genre.

Good game, needs more players though, along with balance patches.
