the matchmaking is ass. i go in with a free kit, and it matches me with teammates that come in with purple shields. so i decide to play solo queue, and someone with blue shields + a shotgun one shots me within 3 minutes. If the matchmaking was more balanced, I would have way more fun when i'm not just playing on the weekends with my friends, queueing as a trio. i can say that i am happy with the game when i'm playing as a trio, because the gameplay is solid. the PVE is fun and the PVP has much more than mechanical skill going for it (can plan and strategize around player encounters, not just go head first into fighting them.) (you can outsmart your opponents.) the game runs very well, i am impressed at how well it runs. i am a fan of the overall aesthetics, but not the shells (playable characters) designs, they are all ugly except for ROOK. the world looks great and is very immersive. the story is awesome and sets a very interesting stage to build on.
Bungie definitely delivered with the gameplay in my opinion. the game runs better than most newer games, which makes the game accessible for people with older PCs I wish there was a firing range, or some kind of PVE mode, so i could test things out, and not just be forced to waste valuable ammo, reveal my position, and risk loot, just so i can learn things about the game.the UI is fine, easy to get used to.

After an hour and a half of restarts, I P-ranked P-1. I felt like I just got lucky, but man last time I 100%ed a game was when Sekiro (on xbox) came out. I'm extremely in love with this game and excited for the full version to come out. The soundtrack is incredible (Which is how I found out about the game, actually).

I'd say even in Early access, the game is worth every penny; Even the demo is really good and I recommend it to anyone who likes first person shooters.
