Ignore the 300hr mark, ive been playing off and on the actual website since about 2010-11 on various accounts. This game is great as a walking sim on top of being a very well made hunting sim. The locations are beautiful, the ambient sound is top tier, the community is alright fairly helpful at that. If you're expecting to just hop in and find deer or hog or whatever you may be wanting to hunt, sadly its not going to be as easy as that however you may set things up to make said job easier such as blinds,bait sites, and several other things. On the good side of things the game has gone completely free to play meaning you don't have to buy membership to hunt anymore, so my advice to you if you want to get free currency fast is to go geese hunting on hirschfelden if they have a setup and permit you to use it and are willing to help you call things down.
My recommended weapon for you to save up for and actually use for a good while would probably be the .300 bolt action, or 30-06 lever action.

Graphics still hold up amazingly, movement is just a tad clunky but in a decent enough way, The guns feel nice, It's completely F2P now, If you're wanting at minimum a nice walking simulator this is a great game, if you want a bit more theres plenty here to be found.
