I will start this by saying this game is not for everyone and i think that's fine, it does have a huge grind you have to figure out if you wish to progress far at all. That being said I think the grind really isnt one of the main issues this game has.

The biggest problem with this game is that if you plan on only playing for free and not put any money into the game like I did once you get around rank 4/5 vehicles you start having to jump back and forth between playing low rank stuff and high rank stuff just to make enough silver lions to keep progressing or even playing in some cases. Alot of time ive seen people say that this is because youre not good enough or whatever but personally i really dont think it comes down to skill, when i can cap 2 zones and get a positive KD I shouldn't still lose 20,000 in silver lions. Or when i play a bomber at 8.3 and have too do at least 4 runs just to break even on my repair cost while someone else at the same BR can to a fraction of that in terms of points and make way more it just doesnt make any sense. This is my least favorite part when i play the game, feeling like it's more of an economy simulator then a game. I shouldnt have to be worrying more about how much silver lions I have left then the actual game itself.

That being said though the game play itself is very enjoyable, I know people like to say this nation is OP or whatever but in all honesty over the past 6 years ive played this game i think ive heard that every nation is OP at some point or another. Id recommend just getting in and having fun. Like i said at the beginning you really dont have to worry about your silver lions until you reach rank 4/5 roughly.

If their was one thing they could fix in the game it would be the repair costs, these effect soooo much in terms of how people play, what they play, if they play at all AND something that isnt mentioned alot....toxicity. Understandably most players are pissed when they lose 30k SL in a single match and this causes them to rage. If repair costs for everything above rank 4/5 was fixed i cant think of any other major issues this game would have.

TLDR; Good game give it a shot

I had a lot of fun playing this game, and would definitely recommend this game to play for the main story line, plus the minikits. Though this is not a fun game to 100%, probably one of the more painful games ive gone for full completion. While steam says i have 34 hours in the game I 100 percented this game in a little less than 27 hours. If i had to break that down I would say i spent about 15-20 hours doing actual gameplay and the minikits then the next 7 hours doing the extremely repetitive ground battles as well as the sector gold brick missions. Both these missions are the exact same thing with 3 different choices for every single system, I would usually just open up youtube and watch a video because of how boring it was.

Overall the game is good if youre just looking for a basic lego game though it certainly isnt anything special. I recommend the game but I do not recommending going for game completion. 7/10
