This is the most neurodivergent game ever and it's amazing for this
I've managed to terrify my fighting game friend by showing the tricks inputs it has and goodness I cannot compliment the soundtrack enough
I was not expecting to 100% this game yet here I am now, wanting for more
Amazing job to everyone involved, absolutely phenomenal experience

Absolutely gorgeous yet dreary game, no doubt I ended up getting attached to all the characters really fast in a beautiful story you're part of from beginning to end

Also because I know it's a main concern for a lot of people (myself included), I can promise you this game has no jumpscares :D

Oh. my. God.
As a huge Rhythm Heaven fan, this is SUCH a refreshing take on the rhythm minigame concept!
The games are very well designed to the point they can all (to some extent) be played with your eyes closed, but why would you do that when you can witness the phenomenal art style of this game?
The art style makes itself recognizable across all games while still being able to apply so many different team, bravo to the illustration and animation team on that front! And the soundtrack is such a treat on the ears, ended up lowering the SFX volume to let the music guide me more than the audio cues!
My one minor caveat with this game is the tutorials can be a little obnoxious at times, either with the game taking the controls away from me to show me themselves, or the tutorial music being too loud to learn the audio cues at times.
In any case, absolutely loved playing through it, will definitely try to Perfect all the games and probably will still be there to replay them! I saw some people complaining about the game size for the price, which I think is a really unfair argument against this when this game clearly took quality over quantity by making all games that much more amazing. (that twist on Snakedown was the moment I knew I was playing something special)

That being said, I really hope to see some mini-game sequels or even a built-in level editor in the future! Would absolutely buy a DLC to design my own levels. Congratulations to the whole team for this masterful piece or art, and thank you for this wonderful experience. I really hope to see more from your work soon.

I genuinely love this game, over 220 hours as of writing this review, but this is one of the worst case of spaghetti code in any game I've ever played. I cannot recommend it in its current state-

I hate being the playtester for the game I paid money for and the game is riddled with so many bugs it'd make the terminids jealous. Dev team seeming only preoccupied with fixing the ones that are easy to fix.
This game is in desperate need of a huge rework to fix performance issues, mission-ruining bugs, and especially memory space. Just because "it's still fun" doesn't mean it should stay in this crash-inducing glitched state. As a bonus, fixing your code would also make it easier to implement stuff.

It's absolutely possible for this game to become so much better and it's so upsetting to see so little done about it...

Only buy this game if it goes on sale (and also your PC can take it)

Let me start by saying I've been a huge fan of the MH series and consider myself to have an open mind about every new launch title.
With that said, here's a few things a lot of people think are bad that I actually like:
The game is not "too easy", most people that complain about this are people that play the series since forever and have gotten used to the difficulty, and then pin the blame on QOL changes.
In terms of story, I didn't mind it at all, it only got in the way of hunting *new* monsters, and only felt railroady in those "walk" sections, and there are plenty of parts of it I really liked.

The downfall comes in the endgame
The combat of this game feels incredible, really it does, everything in-between those fights just feels *eh* and slows down the flow of the hunting loop, I was disappointed how fast I got burnt out from the game. I *know* MH titles usually get better after a few title updates, especially with the most recent ones. But this "buy now, get a great game later" format killed so many games, especially a lot of Nintendo games.
Why should I be expected to stick around for a game that takes all of my energy just to hunt one monster, and then make me wait for slightly more content with more ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ DLCs and limited-time events I'm going to miss bc I don't feel like playing the game at all.
And that's not even talking about all the people that can't afford a NASA-grade PC to actually play the game, not like that'll help since the game seems to perform worse with every update.

For the game to be worth buying at all, it's going to need a serious overhaul. And I know it's possible with games like Risk Of Rain 2 having a 3 phases overhaul on one of their DLCs, it went from genuinely awful to amazing thanks to the work of a company way smaller than Capcom. Please don't abandon the game you've put work into for over a decade because of problems you just don't feel like fixing.
