Cumber (カンバー Kanbā), the Evil Saiyan (悪あくのサイヤ人じん Aku no Saiya-jin), is an ancient Saiyan interred by Fu on the Prison Planet. He is the central antagonist of the Prison Planet Saga and one of the antagonists of the Universal Conflict Saga, before eventually becoming an ally in the New Space-Time War Saga.

Appearance:
Cumber is a very muscular man of towering height. He has long spiky black hair reaching down to his thighs with a single shorter bang hanging over his face. Unlike most Saiyans with pitch-black irises, he has red-irises and visible pupils. He also retains a Universe 7 Saiyan tail, which unlike most adult Saiyans, he lets sway freely.

Personality:
Cumber embodies all the battle characteristics of a Saiyan - violence, savagery, and an extreme desire to fight anyone he comes across. He has a tendency to demand battle with strong opponents no matter the scenario, even when on the losing end of a fight he's already in. He appears to have history with the Super Saiyan God form and may be an ancient Saiyan from an era where he fought against the heroic Saiyans.

Background
Cumber is an ancient Saiyan who possesses a unique Evil Aura. He appears to have some bad history with the Super Saiyan God as when he first saw Goku turn Super Saiyan God, he became very agitated at the presence of a red-haired Saiyan.

Before the events of the Prison Planet Saga, Fu somehow became aware of Cumber's existence and made a wish to the Dragon Balls to summon him to the present day. Cumber is subsequently confined in a Restraint Jacket and sent to the Core Area of the Prison Planet, where he meets several other individuals that Fu plans to release to add more excitement to his upcoming experiment. In particular, Cumber becomes acquainted with the god-hating Hearts and the two become allies. Additionally, Cumber is given the Five-Star Special Dragon Ball.
