Dishonored 2, as a direct sequel to the already legendary first game, delivered brilliantly, in my opinion. Many mechanics saw significant depth added, such as the Chaos system, and the graphics received a major upgrade thanks to the transition to a new engine—all while remaining true to its magnificent art style. The sound design is, as always, top-notch, and Daniel Licht's soundtrack once again impresses with fresh nuances that perfectly capture the vibe of Karnaca - the southern pearl of the Isles.

The story is on par with the first game—not particularly groundbreaking but sufficiently engaging. Special mention goes to the outstanding level design overall, with Jindosh Mansion and Dust District standing out as peak examples of level design mastery.

This is a fantastic game that unfortunately suffered in terms of popularity at launch due to optimization issues. Thankfully, those issues have since been resolved, and it stands as an excellent sequel to the series. 9.4/10.
