Roleplaying instead of min-maxing is my playstyle, so I will try to make choices that fit the characters and nations I am playing instead of just slavishly maxing out certain stats. Games are a fantastic medium for emergent storytelling and I try to play them that way - so a crushing defeat in a game is actually a win for me if it was the result of an interesting storyline that was created through a series of in-character choices.
