i never really cared about being remembered, and i never understood why people tried so hard to make themselves impossible to forget. eventually everything becomes another username, another profile picture, another account sitting somewhere in a forgotten friends list. i think i've always preferred it that way. there is something comfortable about being unimportant, about existing somewhere without having to explain what you're doing there. i don't need a story behind every name i use, and i don't need every person i meet to understand me. sometimes a name is just a name, a game is just a game, and a few hours spent somewhere else are enough.

i've spent an unreasonable amount of time playing games that i probably don't even remember installing. i've learned maps without meaning to, memorized corners i've never consciously looked at, recognized footsteps before realizing who was making them, and developed habits that only make sense after hundreds of hours of repetition. sometimes i play seriously, sometimes i don't. sometimes i'm trying to improve, sometimes i'm just moving around because sitting in an empty menu feels worse. there isn't really a difference anymore. the hours disappear either way.

i like games that reward patience, games where knowing something half a second earlier matters more than reacting perfectly. i like empty servers, late queues, old maps, strange matchmaking lobbies, unfinished profiles, obscure achievements and statistics that nobody else would ever bother checking. there's something oddly satisfying about seeing a number increase after doing the same thing for hundreds of hours. not because the number means anything, but because i know exactly how much time is hidden behind it.

i don't really care about being the best player in the room. i'd rather be the person nobody notices until the scoreboard appears. no unnecessary movement, no dramatic reaction, no need to explain what happened. just repetition until something that used to feel difficult becomes automatic. eventually you stop thinking about the crosshair, the timing, the movement, the angle, the sound. everything becomes instinct, and then you realize you've been playing for another three hours without noticing.

most of the time i don't even remember why i started playing a particular game. maybe someone recommended it, maybe i saw a random clip, maybe i downloaded it because i had nothing else to do. then somehow it became another place i kept returning to. that's how most things happen. nothing important ever really announces itself when it begins. you just keep doing something until one day you realize you've spent hundreds of hours doing it.

i've never been particularly interested in collecting things that everyone else wants. i prefer the useless little details. obscure badges, old cosmetics, strange profile layouts, forgotten games, meaningless statistics, usernames that only make sense for five seconds before becoming completely incomprehensible. the kind of things that make someone stop and wonder why they exist. that's usually enough of a reason for me to keep them.

there are days where i don't want to talk to anyone, so i disappear into whatever game happens to be open. there are days where i want to play until my hands hurt, and days where i launch something, sit in the menu for twenty minutes, and close it without joining a single match. neither really bothers me. not everything needs to become productive. sometimes the entire point is wasting time somewhere that feels better than wasting it anywhere else.

i don't take usernames very seriously, but i spend far too much time choosing them. there is something satisfying about finding a word that sounds right without immediately explaining itself. short names, strange combinations, words that look familiar but aren't, phrases that seem like they belong somewhere else. i don't need a name to describe me. if anything, i'd rather it create the wrong impression.

same thing with profile pictures. same thing with backgrounds. same thing with everything else here. i don't really want my profile to tell you who i am. i'd rather it leave enough empty space for you to make up the rest. people are going to assume things anyway, so there isn't much point in correcting them.

i've probably spent more time changing small details on this profile than i should admit. moving something by a few pixels, replacing a picture, changing a sentence, deleting it, putting it back again. none of it matters. that's exactly why it's enjoyable. there doesn't have to be a practical reason for every little thing.

sometimes i wonder how many people i've played against without remembering them. thousands of names appearing for a few minutes, disappearing after a match, never being seen again. someone gets lucky once, someone misses an easy shot, someone leaves before the game ends, someone sends a friend request and forgets why they did it. most of these interactions last less than an hour. somehow that's enough to make an entire evening feel different.

i don't expect anyone reading this to actually read all of it. honestly, i wouldn't either. profile descriptions are strange things. most people look at the picture, glance at the name, check the hours, maybe scroll down for a second, and leave. that's fine. this isn't really here to be read. it's here because an empty box looked worse.

i don't have a dramatic reason for playing. i don't have some deep story about competition or proving myself. i just like the feeling of getting something right after getting it wrong enough times. i like hearing the sound of something landing exactly when it should. i like recognizing a situation before it happens. i like knowing that a mistake i made yesterday probably won't happen again today.

there's a strange kind of peace in repetition. the same map, the same routes, the same timings, the same small decisions. everything becomes predictable without becoming completely boring. you know what should happen, but you still have to make it happen. sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. either way, the next round starts.

i don't really care if someone thinks i'm good or bad. statistics are useful, but they aren't a personality. hours aren't a personality either. neither is a rank, a badge, a rare item, or a profile full of expensive cosmetics. they're just traces of time. some people collect memories, some people collect achievements, some people collect things they can display. i guess i collect evidence that i was somewhere for a while.

maybe that's why i like old games so much. everything feels temporary. servers disappear, communities move somewhere else, updates change things, players leave, accounts become inactive. eventually something that once felt enormous becomes a tiny page nobody visits anymore. there's something strangely nice about that. nothing stays important forever.

i don't really mind being forgotten. i'd rather have a few good moments that disappear naturally than spend my time trying to make every moment permanent. there's always another match, another queue, another map, another late night where i tell myself i'll play one more game and then somehow end up watching the clock change.

so if you found this profile by accident, there's probably nothing important here. you don't need to figure anything out. you don't need to understand the name, the pictures, the games, or the reason this description is unnecessarily long. it's just a profile belonging to another person who spends too much time online, plays games at unreasonable hours, changes their username more often than necessary, and occasionally takes something completely meaningless far too seriously.

maybe i'll keep this account for years. maybe i'll stop playing tomorrow. maybe i'll disappear for months and come back like nothing happened. maybe the profile will look completely different the next time you see it. that's proba
