Mirror's Edge is a great game. The graphics are gorgeous, and I've not stumbled across another game anything like it.
It's not just a first person shooter- it's a first person shooter platformer free runner strategy game.
Honestly though, it's so fun and satisfying to jump around and climb buildings and other shenanagins. I'd recommend this to almost anyone. If you've considered buying this at any point, you really should.

Geometry Dash is a very rage-enducing game.
Seriously, you keep going at a level and end up throwing your razer blackwidow chroma 2 across the room, smashing it into an oblivion, and then punching a hole into your monitor.

Jokes aside, the game is addictive and fun, it poses a strong challenge to the player, and the feeling of finally beating a level is overwhelmingly positive.
Granted, I've never actually beaten a single level in this game. It's still fun. Would recommend.

Garry's Mod. GMod.
A game I wanted when I was younger, since people did silly things in it, such as goofy youtube "animations". I watched some weird sonic series where someone used sonic character rag-dolls.
After having owned the game for some fair amount of time, and playing it with my friends, it's a fairly decent game.

I mean, having said "it's a fairly decent game", I take that back. The game itself is garbage. Fueled by the community workshop, with pretty much everything possible, the game can be made to be something impressive.
It runs on the source, engine... so for the most part, it's really generic, and clunky, and things feel a bit... unstable.
Does this ruin the experience? Heck no! While you won't have much fun directly after installing the game, without adding anything, the game is a sandbox game of sorts where you can make whatever you want from it.

It's not designed to be anything special though, it's a simple formula.
Definitely worth the ~£5 imo, me and my friends shared a lot of laughter while playing on this, and I hope that you do too.

So yeah, overall, GMod is great and you should definitely give it a try.

Having played Counter Strike since I was 5 or something stupid, I think I should write a quick review of this game.

I really enjoy CS:GO, it is a FPS I can chill on, since it's not fast-paced, and it has a very simple formula which has been the same since the early days.
Some new gimmicky things have been introduced, mostly by the community, like surfing. Though, one of my favorite additions in this installation of CS is the Deathmatch mode.
It's really easy to just jump in and run around shooting as many people as you possibly can.

My only problem is the AUG, because it's an overpowered piece of crap. If you're a noob, this gun gives you instant win. If you're a pro, nobody will be able to stop you from killing them out of nowhere.

Oh, also, I love being in the UK, because 90% of the time you get put in an EU server full of russian 12 year olds who will screech at everyone and throw flashbangs at their teammates.

Overall, a masterpiece of a game. A must buy for anyone who likes FPS games.

I love this game
The physics system is extremely interesting, I got this game on 90% off discount (so 59p British Sterling) and I can say it is even worth the full £5.99 (UK), I would recommend this to anyone. The main flaw of the game is that it's completely multiplayer based and so few people play it that there's rarely ever anyone online to play. I recommend the game as this will help more people get it to encourage circulation.
The graphics could use a slight improvement but they're pretty decent for the cost, and the mechanics are what set this game apart from other games.
If you're looking for an interesting and different experience that is easy to learn, but challenging to master, then you should consider trying this out.
If you like offline/singleplayer/campaign games then this isn't for you I guess.
8/10 as this game WOULD be extremely enjoyable, if it had a larger community behind it. The lack of the extra 2 stars is mainly the fault of the public not having any interest in the game.

Poorly optimized on Linux
My friend wanted me to play the game with him so I installed it and configured the graphics settings, After restarting the game... well, actually I couldn't restart, I could close it but it wouldn't open again. I set fullscreen to on and a few other things, and upon trying to open the game again I get a black screen with my mouse cursor for a few seconds and then the game crashes with no crash or error log.
Instead of just compiling a Linux binary and leaving it to the Linux community to suffer on their own, actually put time and effort into optimizing it.

As well as this, I remember playing this back when I was on windows but was not impressed at all. I didn't know what the objective of the game was and I even played the tutorial twice. It's less clear than a blind person's sight.
Would not recommend.

This game was like cancer to my eyes and made me want to kill myself in the most painful ways possible all at the same time. I would rather drown in a sewer than play this. It's awful. Would not recommend.
