A fine upgrade over the hades(1st) mechanics and its still in early access.

+ similar but refined and faster combat mechanics
+ witch-y theme but keeping it to the Greek roots, and continuing story from 1st game.
+ environment and character designs and personality
+ can pet the frog and can even kiss that cute thing or just share your thoughts with it.
+ Arachne, that cute little spider
+ hot sauna scenes are well made and even hotter with romance-able characters.
+ OST, Darren Kobb and Ashley Barret are back and rocking.


Think with your wallets before buying the game as its in early access, can have certain issues and there are still things in development.

A quick summary:
Another RGG game which is highly recommended if you are used to the combat of LaD:7, Story and minigames.
Can be bought at full price or on sale as it has already gone to 20% on spring sale.
For the achievement hunters buy either the ultimate edition or buy standard and use CreamInstaller to unlock the paywalled NG+, higher difficulties and hawaii dungeon (a Low Move by SEGA).

Now Diving into the pros and cons:

+ Kiryu as playable character and breaking the jrpg system is awesome and yet again he is dragged into the yakuza clans crap for what he wanted to avoid in the first place, from the ending scene with him i guess there is more to be milked by RGG in the next game and im ok with it so far.
+ Ichiban as usual brings his charm and power of kindness and friendship into a foreign land and resolve its disputes.
+ addition of Seonhee, oh i always loved her from previous game and im glad to have her in this a playable character.
+ Adachi and Nanba being the awesome frnds and damn who thought Adachi had such great body.
+ Yamai - the mature lady lover, now he went from ok to wow character for me.
+ minigames - Dating, sicko snap and Suijimon battles were great.
+ Story was good but was not that great.
+ Let it snow substory, it was the best outta all other Usual RGG level quality of substories.

~ tomizawa and chitose were nice additions but need more development.
~ dondoko island
~ Memoirs were hit and miss - Taichi, sayama, cabarate club ones and akiyama were great rest felt boring.

- idk what they did with Saeko's character, kinda disappointing if you know her from Y7 and the relationship confusion in the end.
- Jo amon model.
- Joongi-han join too late in the game.
- Paywalled NG+, dungeon, difficulty and its achievements.
- Ichiban is too kind and trusting like a Labrador personality which kinda feels overused specially in saving Eiji.

A suggestion (modders are working on similar mods):
For the native hawaiians or USA people let us keep English voice and Japanese for the japanese people, to feel more authentic.

cats are everywhere but you cant find more when the counter reaches 10 or less

i bought it for the cats but got a chill, short and cute experience

A shorter experience with RGG level story packing a Tiger Drop Punch to the feels in the end.

+ smoother and better combat, dragon style felt underwhelming compared to agent style.
+ game-play and story
+ as usual great side quests, requests and mini-games.
+ OST, but didnt liked the opening song (personally)
+ The Dress-up choices for Kiryu and the cat-walk to preview the Style
+ Joryu is <3
+ Akame, i love her and her accent, wish they could have expanded her role more or in next games. (even the Japanese VO is fan of LAD series and got her wish come true)
+ Coliseum was fun and best way to grind money after gambling.
+ man the ending, it hits hard if you have played games from 0-6
+ Gotta Catch ’em Balls! this side quest lol.

~ have a mixed feeling with the live action hostess mini-game, felt weird most of the times but keeps one distracted ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

- No NG+, No Legend Difficulty.
- Shorter in length.
- To SEGA, why no regional pricing, paying almost 47 USD, after locking certain regions out from even visiting the store page and couldn't even pre-order and order on release, had to wait a day.

Playtime: 25-30 hrs if you target 100%
Recommend to play at least Y6 and Y7 before this game, heavy spoilers for Y7: LAD
