This game is exactly as amazing as I was hoping it would be. It takes everything from last game and builds on it in ways that make so much sense, and then throws even more crazy. So many more unique feature additions. such an amazing sequel. Genuinely burned away 16 hours already without even realizing it, and I can't wait to burn away 100s more!

Awesome game! Still has plenty of room for optimizations and QOL features, but a very enjoyable game as released! Got about 20 hours of active gameplay out of it to snag essentially all achievements and complete the campaign (just walks you through the tech tree over ~8 levels). Would recommend!

Absolutely fantastic game. Sunk many hours into it, and would do it again.

I quite enjoyed this game! At first, it's a little stressful as every new building you place increases the types of enemies you run into, and every turret you place to defend those enemies does the same. Quite an exciting experience the first time I hit one of the Heat thresholds and had to remove some other things to be able to place the defenses necessary. After a certain point of defeating the (current) final boss, the game is quite relaxing as you build out your area, and you can just research things, build coolers, build turbines, and research more things.

One thing that does grind my gears is that once you get to the end game, in which you have to expand out your base and reach quite a lot more, placing the things that extend your area can be quite a nuisance. If there was a click and drag option which put them at the optimal distance from each other, that would be fantastic! Otherwise, if this game eventually does cost money once it comes out of Early Access, this is an easy purchase if I want to sink an hour, or two, or 5 into a game and relax.

This game is a dark, thrilling game that tests your patience and your greediness. Your party can seem to breeze through one mission, but struggle (and potentially lose a member or two) in the next. Overall, a fascinating, gorgeous game to sink many hours into without a blink.
