I haven't reviewed Necrodancer yet? Really? Well!

Among the millions of rhythm games out there, there are very few that make the beat feel just so satisfying. Outstanding music is one thing, but when the enemies, the environment, and the character all work together to really make you feel each movement, and especially to make each subsequent movement flow perfectly, that's when you have a great rhythm game. Rhythm games should always play in a way that makes you figure out the next beat and keep the flow going without just having to memorize an entire song for example, and the complexity of enemies and their positioning works to deliver that and keep things fresh.

Necrodancer also lends itself to be a great challenge, as good planning and reactions are necessary to be able to play well, especially at later levels, and all while keeping the beat. There's immense replayability with different characters, weapons, and playstyles in general due to gear and other factors, but the game can also be just about as difficult as you want to make it for yourself. The aesthetic in general is fantastic, and even if that's not everyone's kinda thing, the stellar gameplay will always speak for itself.

buy momodora 4

Anyways, with that outta the way, time for an actual review.

As the fourth installment in the Momodora series, I've been following along for a while now, and I've loved to see this series grow. Reverie Under the Moonlight is wonderfully polished, and is well able to stand on its own as a strong representative of the Momodora series.

The atmosphere and plot got to me in ways that I didn't expect, and through immersing yourself more in the world, it rewards you even more. The combat is greatly satisfying, and just that alone is enough to make repeated playthroughs enjoyable throughout. Through the music and sound effects in general, both the atmosphere and combat are even further accentuated, and honestly, it's just so nice to play.

I love this series.

How I Lost My Life to Warframe

To me, for the longest time it was one of those games that I'll see and hear about early on and decide, "Nah, that's not my kind of game, I won't bother getting into it". Anytime it pops up the same thought is there, and nothing budges.

Eventually, lots of friends were getting into it, playing all the time. "That game has never seemed fun or my kind of game, I still wouldn't like it so I won't get into it still. Even though they're playing it so much, they're prolly just overhyping it, I've always felt it won't be fun to me."

But then I decided, for whatever reason, "Hell, I'll try it out at least." And now, I'm on the other side, as friends watch me play constantly and wonder how it's even possible.

It's just a plain fun game, pretty to look at and play, and even its F2P tactics feel good in the long run. I was pessimistic about the waiting and grinding involved, but pacing your gameplay helps to enjoy things longer, without burning out on things right away. Don't wanna wait 12 hours for a weapon to build? Just take a bit of control, sleep it off, wake up to a nice new shiny toy. There'll be more to do in the meantime, the new player experience is just a bit slow to get you off your feet is all.

Hope ya know your keyboard well, because you'll be scrambling all over it! Eggs!

This is a very fast-paced and hectic game, challenging as you make it really. Choose all the delicious foods you want to serve, and watch your fingers clamber around in the hopes of leaving all your customers happy. There's tons of visual and audible cues for just about everything you'd want to know about that is happening amidst all the chaos too. The graphics make this game a bad idea to play while hungry though, as everything looks so mouthwatering.

It's a wonderful game, if you have the ability to handle all that's going on at once!

This is a charming and whimsical lil experience to play through. I wouldn't quite call it just a game though, as this is one of those that weaves the characters, plot, music, minimalist design, and especially narration all together to create just that - a wonderful experience to be had.

Perhaps a bit short, but there's a lot of replayability to be had here as well. Given free option of how to handle each mission, you can certainly play to your preferred style, be it sleek non-violent espionage or just brute forcing it. More to that, the game'll reward you depending on how you play, especially with a nice bonus following gameplay.

Also have to say here that the dialogue is quite well written, coupled with the option to choose responses at certain points of gameplay, it leads to satisfying plot turnouts and sometimes more enjoyable dialogue.
