I give this game 6/10.

My experience with games like Paladins is that I have been playing Overwatch at Master level for about 1500 hours. I also have been playing a lot of MOBA-games, so I would believe that I have something to compare Paladins to.

Coming from the Overwatch-community, I must say that it is quite easy to adapt into playing Paladins. Many heroes are similar to the ones in Overwatch although they have abilities that differ a lot.

During these three hours of playtime, I discovered a few bugs but it did not prevent me from having fun blasting headshots.
Instead of writing a whole story, I'll list some pros and cons and end with some additional statements.

Pros:

+ Easy to adapt to as an Overwatch-player.

+ The aim feels crisp.

+ FPS/flow of the game feels very smooth.

+ Tons of heroes to play (although you gotta unlock them and that will take a long time).

Cons:

- When the enemy runs behind a wall, you can still see them for a short while before they disappear which is a big
no no for me. The ability to juke people behind walls and trying to play peek-a-boo as a sniper becomes really boring.

- After a game, you can't quit right away to queue for a new game. You have to wait and watch the highlight video and after a
while, you can continue to the main menu.

- The visuals of the game feels kind of bland. They don't give any real representation of it's features. If I see a pool of goo on the
floor, I don't really know if it's harmful or helpful. Did someone use an ultimate? Well, it doesn't really tell you. Neither are there
anything flashing when you have your ultimate ready, so as a beginner, you pretty much forget about the ultimate.
Is that healer a healer at all? Does he throw something at his teammates? Can't really tell.

- I want to be able to dodge/duck, but as far as I know, there's no button for that which makes it feel like you character is not
running at all, but floating above the ground.

- It's super hard to see where damage is coming from. You can stand and shoot from high ground against the enemy, and
suddenly you start taking tons of damage and you don't even know what is killing you. Then in the replay you see that
someone has flanked and been shooting you for 10 seconds without you even knowing.

- Really bad communication.

This is a free game. For that reason alone you should get it if you want an introduction into a game like Overwatch/Team Fortress 2 etc.
If you already own Overwatch, then it's really hard to motivate the transition to Paladins.

If you have the money, buy Overwatch, if you don't have the money, then Paladins will do.
