Killer main here, ignore the other reviews, this chapter got review bombed because people wanted a robot instead of a supervillian and people who believe every killer NEEDS to be anti-loop This chapter gave us one of the best killers in the game in the Skull Merchant, an info based zoner whos built around map control, as someone whos added her to my main stable her since release, she is the definition of something I've said ever since I started maining Doctor 3 years back, Information is the strongest ability in DBD, pure and simple, with area denial being a close second and SM has perfect tracking as a core ability, and the ability to shut down massive areas of the map, shes got the best parts of Doctor and Clown come together in one package and is imo a mostly perfect punctuation to year 7, the only real weak point I have for her is her perks which, with the exception of Leverage pretty situational, hoping THWACK gets buffed sometime in the future and I think parking her stuff in Shelter Woods really only put emphasis on how boring the rest of the map is sadly, but over all SM rules

as for any personal tips I can give for playing her: dont put drones on gens unless you absolutely have to, instead focus on high traffic areas, loops you don't like and places you keep running into survivors at, shutting down these places puts more pressure on survivors than any gen

a badass rhythm based FPS set in the depths of hell, Metal Hellsinger is a headbanging good time, with incredible preformances from a lot of incredible singers from across heavy metal and tight controls that make killing to the beat feel oh so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ good, I will say I kinda wish their was slightly more design variety, espcially when it comes to bosses but when everything feels this good to play its a minor complaint

Looking at Cruelty Squad its easy to assume that this game is horrid, it looks like 90 web design imploded, its sounds like an Aphyx Twins album tossed in the dryer during a hurricane and overall is abrasive as all hell but looking past the hostile
and disturbing aesthetic you will find a refined game thats extremely intentional in design a world thats is as interesting as it is bleak and a damn good time, just be sure to keep your headache medicine of choice on tap

Let me take you back in time, to a time before wifi, a time before social media, when using the internet in any capacity required typing up a phone line, a simpler time when the internet wasn't perpetually on fire. Geocities and Angelfire sites were how people talked about their hobbies and likes, personal websites that, should you have the know how, were completely customizable. AOL Keywords were the way to easily find like minded people. Oh and everything was slow, really, REALLY slow, count your blessings kids that you dont have to live thru dial-up speeds. Hypnospace Outlaw takes players back to that time period, and my god it is glorious, every page adorned with wonderfully low quality images, blasting midis and the occasionally actual music. Your job is simple, moderate the fictional internet of HypnOS, Censoring removing any material that violates the rules no matter how small the violation. the story takes place over a few dates, over which you get to see the effects of your actions, events in the world, and hell even the total collapse of a popular music genera. This game is cozy as hell and I can't recommend it enough, and with workshop support coming up I can't wait to relive a time when having a gif of a skull that rotates and shoots flames from its eyes was an impressive feat. This reviewer stands with Gooper.

Update: Modding is now up and running and even though its not through Steam Workshop as initially said its a smooth experiance, the creators even released a mod with new music by one of the games bands, Seepage

Retro throwback games are usually a hard sell for me, usually they miss the mark hard. this is especially true in the retro FPS throwback world. In a sea of lackluster Wolf3D clones, and monster arena games, Dusk stands high above, a mountainous island that is a true treat. Everything about this game feels right from the music, the movement, the look and so much more. The choice to opt for a low poly 3-D Aesthetic in the same vein as Quake is a stroke of genius that really helps sell the feel of everything. It makes the horrors of the games cult more frightening and the later levels more alien, fitting with the lovecraftian setting perfectly. Moving in the game feels like Quake on steroids, strafe jumping alone can make you reach speed most games require you to get in a vehicle to reach, in addition you can flip around the air with the grace of a homicidal cirque du soleil performer. Andrew Hulshult's soundtrack is a fantastic mix of atmospheric and heavy tracks that fits the mood of each level to perfection tho if you do get tired of the music might I recommend popping on ♥♥♥♥♥ Control by Prince, it works surprisingly well with the motion of the game , All in all Dusk is as close to perfect as possible. The final reveal with Stephan Weyte, the voice of Calab from Blood, as the final boss was the icing on an already delicious cake I cannot recommend Dusk enough, for someone must always reign beneath Dusk.

A brief but fun Psychonauts story to tide people over untill Psyconauts 2 finishes, its not very long, just under 2 hours and thats with some screwing around and not super substantual although that might be due to its origins as a PSVR exclusive but definatly fun and a great story if you got VR and 20 bucks I'd recommend grabbing it, doubly so if you love Psychonauts
