CS:GO was a great game. CS2 is also great, but not so great as a competitive game. It fell off. Not because of the gameplay but rather because of the anti-cheat. The game is still very much fun when you're playing in a casual lobby, but the competitive is even playable unless i play faceit which i find tedious to do. Unless Valve does something with the cheaters, I would never recommend it as a competitive game.
