I met a few real Truckers who know this game and they told me that the places look quiet real -- you can feel the south of france or north of scandinavia.

But to really dive in the game you need a steering wheel and pedals. a shifter makes it even better. You wont get that highway feeling without, probably. Still, it's just driving around with cargo -- you may find it boring, if the game doesn't happen in your mind.
