Had a fun time!

Desync issues caused myself and the friend I was playing with to have some solid confusion a couple times, but thankfully it didn't happen in the Rival Room like some of the other reviews I read before buying the game said.

The puzzles are relatively simple as escape rooms go and there's a lot of signposting if you pay attention, so it's not a huge challenge if you're looking for that (though the fact that they put "blissfully approachable" as a featured quote in the trailer should tip you off to that before you buy).

The story is pretty decent. I enjoyed it, nothing groundbreaking, but I wasn't really expecting a crazy story from this. If you like the pitch in the trailer, that's pretty much the story you're getting.

The game doesn't have a strong co-op focus. All the puzzles are completable solo, and they don't change for co-op sessions (though I will admit, having the key on one end of the split-screen and the puzzle on the other did make things go a little nicer)

Price-wise, I think it's pretty reasonable. it's not super long as games go for $20, but considering going to a real-life escape room is about double the price per person for one room, I don't mind it too much. It has gone on sale relatively regularly though, so if $20 is hard to stomach, you can pick it up for a little less if you're patient.

Haven't yet tried the DLCs and I'm not sure if I will, but we'll see.

Also you can pet the digital dog and non-digital rat.
