I looooved Turnip Boy 1. To me it was quirky zelda type game with a short playtime, but a ton of character.

Turnip Boy 2 is great, but it's different. I would not call it a zelda type anymore, but I'm not sure what it compares to. You could say that this game is just 4 dungeons glued together, and it has roguelite elements. You will need to attempt going further and further into the bank, bring more money every time, spend the money on upgrades or equipment, allowing you in turn to go even farther, until you get to the end of the game.

But i loved it. It's longer than Turnip Boy 1, but i finished it in 6 hours. There were still a couple of secondary tasks to complete. And the ambience is very much in line with the first one.

One weird thing : the game only plays in 4:3 aspect ratio. This is on purpose (look at the screenshots), this is their design choice. I'm not sure it makes sense, but you get used to it don't worry about it too much.

TL;DR, play the demo first. The game is decent, but it's mainly stealth/real-time tactics, so maybe not for everyone, but i think it deserves a chance!

While not perfect, technically the best stargate game in a long time, or ever? Well, the SNES Stargate was okay, yes I remember that, but it was hard as well.

So, I was never a big big fan of stealth/infiltration games, and yet back in the day i was fascinated with the game Commandos. A friend had it, he let me try it, and I was terrible at it, but i thought that game was incredible.

Fast forward to now, what is this, a Stargate SG-1 themed Commandos? Well I had to try it.

I am not super patient, but my life changed when i noticed that you can actually quick save and quick load? Life changer truly. After that, the game slowly grew on me, because the save system will save your life. And the game is actually very helpful (too helpful?) and gives you info and tips constantly (but i also play on Easy hah). There are a couple of characters in this, with each their own specific skills. It's kinda fun sneaking around and picking these jaffas one by one.

This isn't XCOM style, or real time strategy, or full action. I'ts real time tactics, and this game is in fact truly reminiscent of old "Commandos Behind Enemy Lines" games, or at least, how i remember them. And by the way, i heard that Commandos 4 is planned for 2024? Coincidence? Well, probably.

I know that the game is currently facing a lot of, possibly undeserved, criticism for not being what some were hoping for. Tough crowd. But the game runs well, it's not terrible, the gameplay is a little bit niche for sure but this is a fair attempt at making a stargate game connected to the SG-1 lore, set between seasons 7 and 8.

And if you have had any interest in Commandos style games, at any point, or stealth games with some leeway for action, then give it a chance maybe, even if you don't know stargate!

A fair warning though : the game currently only offers 7 levels out of the promised 14. That's fine, the remaining 7 levels will arrive in a free update later. I don't usually like this kind of thing because the game is basically half incomplete at this time and it's not early access, but i wanted to support the game so i bought it right away.

I played this game in 2020, with Virtual Desktop, and an Oculus Quest 2. It was fun! Crazy, but fun! Truly something that you need to play at least once if you recently got your VR headset.

HOWEVER, in 2023 however, for some unknown reason, the game doesn't work properly anymore with the Quest 2. Some people also report that they have the same issue with the Quest 3.

The game starts, but the controllers are not responding, and you cannot do anything (you will be stuck on Choosing your seating/standing option), at least through Virtual Desktop. Steam Link doesn't work either. It feels like this is not the game's fault, so it's probably either Oculus (Meta)'s fault (did they change something on the headset with the firmware?), it could be Virtual Desktop's fault? I have no idea.

My money is on Meta. Meta broke something, perhaps the game will one day be able to fix it somehow we can only hope. Until then I cannot recommend the game to anyone.

Now here's a fix that worked for me : you need to have to Meta app on your computer. In the meta app, add a non meta game manually (look it up on the web, but basically you need to go to the Library, and click the + on the top right). You need to add AccountingPlus.exe from the steam folders in the Meta App. Once you've done that, you need to use either the Oculus Link, or the Air Link. I used the Air Link from the headset, and i launched Accounting Plus in the meta library, and it worked! At this point, the game only works like this.

Yes it's pretty good! Cool FPS shooter game, in a faithful setting. I loved the Robocop game, and when i saw that they also had made Terminator Resistance, i simply bought it and kept playing. The two games are very similar, they are both shooters, with a similar engine and look, they are both faithful to their scifi movie universes.

In this Terminator game, the dialogues aren't always exciting, and the game is kinda linear, but it's still quite fun! The characters are there, but they aren't anything special. But that's fine! In fact, i wouldn't change a thing!

Terminator has some stealth elements, and some survival aspects because you will need to manage ammos and resources a little bit, but both seem relatively plentiful thus far. The weapon system is pretty great!

Also, the game gets better and better after each level, trust me on this. And when you do finish the game, DO NOT FORGET to try the Infiltrator Mode, you absolutely need to give it a shot, it's great. And in fact, a couple of elements from Infiltrator Mode made their way to Robocop Rogue City.

If you want a fun FPS experience, in a cool scifi setting, I recommend Terminator Resistance, but also Robocop Rogue City.

Fun little game! It's 3 coop trials in a row and you have to try to get the best score as a team!

The game is awesome. But good lord is it difficult. It gets increasingly difficult, and I have never reached the end.

I will also say that, while you can play this game with friends, the coop mode is a bit awkward because they will need to choose the character they want to control every time a scene starts.

This is the game I didn't know I wanted. I never played the original system shock games, and this is an absolute treat to finally discover it in this form.
