Maybe it stays true to Paragon, but the formula is not very good. Minions are so strong in this game it makes leaving lane a punishment. Kills give minimal XP and the heroes do small damage to towers. The point of ganking is not to earn early kills for gold and XP, it is to allow you to kill more minions. When the game is advertised as a mix of "FPS and MOBA" this is a very big disappointment.

It's okay until you join intermediate-expert lobbies. Then it's either play ninja or lose.

No true expert-level play. Turns taking 30 seconds is a drag when every move is running / blocking / ranged. Spending a half hour game where most turns were the opponent not engaging you is extremely boring. This game is just a "flavour of the month."

I absolutely loved this game. The Christmas theme and co-op is what sold me on it. It's a very solid Mario clone: very tight controls, very accurate physics to to the SNES/NES Mario games. It feels like it could be a Mario mod instead of a standalone game, that's how good it feels to play.
The game is as difficult as those Mario games' later levels too. Despite having only two worlds I managed to get 12 hours of playtime playing through each world once in co-op.
The Santa design is also fantastic. Very cute game.

cool game with fantastic animations on the clay models, but no public servers, everyone's hosting a private one

i thought this DLC was really fun, but I bought the definitive edition of Dishonored on sale, so it just came with my game. the challenges are exactly that - challenging - but they're still easily doable. getting 3 stars on some of them is hard, but each challenge didn't feel like i was grinding for it, it felt like i was just having fun doing some extra content in Dishonored. none of the challenges are hard enough that once you've beaten Dishonored you can't get 2 stars on your first try. the people who are complaining seem to be "achievement hunters," which is a worthless pursuit - with just one program i can unlock every achievement in any steam game with any number of hours put into it and have the same achievements you're wasting 100 hours to unlock. i think these sweaty "achievement hunters" need to stop thinking about getting achievements and git gud.

A very weird and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ collage of Fortnite and Valorant. It suffers from all the same problems those two games have and compounds the problem with an unrefined combat system that leaves it feeling like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ mobile game.

Actually playing the game is extremely boring and the only way to really do so is by hosting your own server. It's much more fun to grief other players, but even that is hard to accomplish because of the small playerbase, with everyone split across 20 or more servers. The stats system makes no sense for short games, either, and you'll find yourself unable to use the crafting system when you play. It's much easier to either steal or kill for items than craft them, which is against the point of the game's design.

Hoo boy. Worse than Brawlhalla.

First of all, this game is made by Chinese developers, so quality is not their main goal. From the get-go this is evident, as in the tutorials, you can glitch through most objects placed. The controls are very messy too: the responsiveness is extremely lacking and most of the time you'll be throwing an attack in the wrong direction because your character didn't turn.

Second, the whole point of this game is that it has a defined canceling gimmick system, which is a unique idea that under other circumstances may have worked out, but from this developer it does not make the game any better.

Lastly, the characters are designed poorly. This holds from many aspects: in looks, each character isn't particularly unique from the next. They all have similar body types and facial attributes with minor differences here and there. Their color palettes don't stand out either. This is a minor gripe, however: what is more atrocious is how slow each character is. The characters do reasonable damage, but take so long to throw out a move that reacting to a combo or missed move is almost impossible. The only exception to this are the neutrals, but given that the controls are so clunky and seem to almost have a delay, throwing out a neutral is not easy to do, at least on a controller. Where this all culminates, and why I compared it to Brawlhalla, is that the main strategy in this game is NOT engaging the enemy. It's very much the opposite, where whenever you get hit, you try your best to run away and reset yourself or turtle with a shield. This is a big problem for a fighting game: I don't want to run and hide or see my enemy run and hide, I want to fight them, react to them, and hopefully kill them. The combos being slow isn't so big of a deal then, but the fact that RECOVERIES are so slow as well makes the game not fun. What compounds on this problem more is that there is basically only one recovery: an air dash with very short iframes. And this entire slow, clunky system can be attributed only to the fact that the game tries so hard to revolve itself around the gimmick of being able to cancel any move you make, even advertising that you can chain infinite up-specials. To compensate for that, of course, the game is slow and up-specials are not moves that launch the enemy up, but down. The only positive attribute of the character design is that each has their own special move kit which adds a gimmick to the character that the other characters more-or-less don't have (e.g., the lightning girl and gun guy aren't so different fundamentally).

The design of the game fundamentally is flawed. The last big drawback is that only in ranked can you be knocked into a kill zone. Casual has walls everywhere. And nobody plays ranked, so you'll never be able to combo your opponent into the void, just into a wall that they bounce back from. I am not sure it would work out even in a more nuanced developer's hands, but in this Chinese company nothing much can be expected. Rushdown Revolt is in alpha stage, but I doubt much will change until release. Even if the controls were more responsive, unless a rework was done, I don't think this game can be very fun.

Just go play Smash.
