Amazing movement and the weapons in this game feel great as well, really pretty maps and models overall, this really feels and looks like great quake game since it includes many of the mechanics that were present in previous Quake games, so no two characters feel the same, or are restricted to play the same. Unfortunately this means nothing when the game is so laggy and the hitreg is so poor, railgun shots not registering, getting hit around corners and on the other side of a portal, being unable to tell which direction some characters are moving, happens so often, issues like this are evident even during mayor LANs, where latency shouldnt be an issue

At first I was happy to even have a modern quake game, unfortunately this game has barely seen improvements, characters that are new are incredibly overpowered for the first month or so, and the game serves as a cashgrab taking advantage of oldschool players and nostalgia, on top of that there are barely any players left, so playing in asia means you're gonna have to wait for 30 minutes to play one public match, just to end up playing with the same cheater you played with the previous game, and the previous one, and the previous one...

As much as I wanted to support this game for the sake of being Quake, Reflex is probably a much better way to invest time and money

This game is perfect to play with friends due to the amount of freedom one can have. It is really easy to host and set up a world. Anyone friend can hop in and learn by your example and advice. Even after you've reached the endgame content, you can set up a much harder world with tough settings, just to have constant challenges (I love playing Lights Out worlds).

Updates expand the lore of Don't Starve and make the game better and better. All microtransactions are cosmetic exclussively and cheap, this game deserves all the love it can get.
