This is a fantastic remake of a trilogy I never played. I was having a ton of fun with it, until, about 30 hours in (after completing 100% of the first two games and half of the 3rd), all of my saved progress was inexplicably wiped. No warning, no hope of recovery, nothing. Reading forums online it became clear that this is quite a common issue that the developers haven't bothered addressing.

Now the mere thought of going back to this game just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. So you, too, can have a bad taste in your mouth if you like. Or maybe you just like playing Russian Roulette. If so, this game is for you.

I hate to be that guy who downvotes an otherwise otherwise great game because of a technical issue, but losing 30 hours of gameplay is one hell of a sucker punch to the gut. I mean, I had fun playing it, so it's not an entire waste, but I'm not going to trust this game with my time again.
