I have been writing fantasy books sitting by Blue Turtle's art and playlists for years before Ithya: Magic Studies, and when it came out this spring, I bought the game almost immediately (despite the fact that I've already owned another productivity game as well). Its atmosphere threw me back to the years I spent crafting my first ever fictional world, and I honestly should credit this for kick-starting my journey back into writing stories just out of joy. At the present I'm using this app strictly for my writing and as a journal where I track the little pieces I add to my current (comfort) project day by day, week by week. Very, very in love with it! <3

You will need a lot of patience for this game.

Sometimes my friends and I take this game off the shelf, dust it off, set it on relaxed, keep dying, reset the world three times in a single night, at last we think we are okay, we are not okay, we play until our last braincells all sit on a ship together screaming into the void, singing unga bunga and fighting over sticks and grass, and then we put the game down and let it collect dust for another month or two. We don't understand why we keep coming back to it. 10/10 for pyromania though.

One day I sat down and spawned myself 300 hours of play time. I think I might be slightly obsessed with this. And a little biased... Also, the table-top version is calling out my name eerily every single night from under my bed.

I'm not big on battle royale games, but this one's got a grip on me. It's cute, the player base isn't toxic, and it can be enjoyed for hours on end. 10/10 for sound design.

Briefly, Spirit City has helped me a lot with organising my life. The biggest positive I've got so far is that it's currently helping me with readjusting to working on career building and passion projects, after a two-month recovery from surgery. It has also helped me develop an important habit of taking my medications properly. And while a big part of the work is definitely coming from my part, I am really glad to have this as a tool in my hand to help visualise and plan out habits and tasks.

I've heard about this game in my early teenage years and it's been my dream to play it ever since. Today marks the day when I finally had the opportunity. It would be an understatement to say that it moved me emotionally. Utterly beautiful.
