One of the few Early Access Games that actually delivers. 'nuff said.

Don't mistake this for just a simple Minecraft spinoff, because it has a LOT more to offer. Ever want to kill bosses for unique rewards, like a pair of goggles that spawns a flying bee you can ride? Maybe you want a charm that, during a full moon, turns you into a werewolf? Perhaps you are the dungeon-dwelling type, and enjoy the thrill of adventuring deep into the chasms, searching for treasure and imposing enemies alike? Maybe you enjoy creating your own little village, with little NPCs of all different kinds coming to join and live with you? This game offers all that and much, MUCH more.

I bought this game ages ago and made the mistake of not playing it for a long time. I'll tell you, I'm never making that mistake twice, especially knowing now I was sitting on such a Gem. Terraria is absolutely AMAZING if you have a group of friends and you want to do something. Sure, there are Minecraft mods out there that might offer some kind of similar items, etc, but believe me when I say there is no experience quite like Terraria with friends. Minecraft isn't the only sandbox survival simulator with mods, either! Terraria's community is equally as fascinating! The things they create are wonderful indeed.

In closing, this game is worth every penny they charge, and they STILL add updates for it, even though it's getting up there in the years. That's dedication you can count on! Thank you very much, Re-Logic, for making such an extra fun game!!

This game is a load of fun. It sets a standard for MMOs, at least to me, in terms of enjoyable gameplay. It feels less focused on how many times you can press the numbers on your keyboard, and more focused on grand storytelling. Elements of other MMOs are here and there, but it's also rather different in it's own right, particularily with the story, and quests. What sets it apart from others is it makes you use your brain to solve things like riddles, a rarity in most MMOs. I've had to brush up on mythological information, learn a bit of Morse Code, dabble in cartography, and so on, just to solve the riddles in some quests. To this day, there is no other game that's done that for me. Thanks TSW, for being the best MMO I've played.

Oh and an addendum for the folks whining about SWL being free to play and having microtransactions?

How quick we forget said transactions were there in TSW as well. This isn't a new feature.

Holy...♥♥♥♥... This game is an emotional roller coaster. Even if you don't like zombies, or aren't a fan of The Walkig Dead, I highly recommend this title, the choices you make will chill you to the bone.
