The game is still in early access. It was put on steam back in around 2019. NOW, it's still in early access and the devs are posting a message about lack of programmers. So now they are asking us, whom have already paid for the game, they want more money. They started a Patreon account to get more money, claiming it will go to a programmer. This is a HUGE red flag that this game is not going to get finished.

Anyone remember what the devs of space engineers did to us with medieval Engineers ? Same problem, they even canceled the game.

I won't speak for anyone else, but I personally am tired of developers scamming the player base.

Great game. And you can play it in offline mode. Perfect for people like me who have little to no internet access.

This is a game I love to play off-line. I also got the Maps DLC which include Empty maps. If you hadn't tried this game yet, I say go for it.

You can tell that this dev puts work into this game. I had to get it.

USA Represent !

EDIT : For those wondering about the USA map, it's ONLY the North East Coast of the USA that is in the maps. At least I can reshape New York and Washington DC. ;)

Random Maps for the BIOMES , YES !

The Devs Heard our complaints and they fixed it. You can't ask for better results then that. It's why I bought this DLC.

One of my favorite games. Sure the graphics are not up to today's standards, even with my RTX 3060 GPU. However, the game-play is why I love this game. The things you can do, well even other games I play, doesn't have this ability. Although they are trying.

Why the thumbs down ? Well it's a forced-internet game. Even though it's single player. The original code still uses a DRM that the current dev could fix if he has the time. As an OpenGL graphic developer and professional 3D modeler and animator, I know this to be true. Either way, get the game if you are online all the time. But for those of us, and there are more of us offline players then people think, we can't play this.

Sad too, I love this game.

I WILL re-buy this game IF that DRM issue (Offline Mode) is ever fixed.

EDIT : I just tried this game once more to see if the Dev fixed the bank (offline mode) game lockup. HE DID. He fixed it. So far I am able to play in offline mode just fine. So I am switching this game to thumbs up.

Sadly, the game hangs when you click on the bank, when you are playing in OFFLINE mode. And you have to start the game over. I can't recommend this game to users who also play offline, do to lack of internet access. When they fix this problem, I will switch to thumbs up. It really is a good game, when you can actually play it.

Don't think, just buy it.
