Someone who has beaten nightmare as Doc Main.
Pros:
Gunplay feels good. Guns feel responsive and killing zombies stills feels good
Attachment system
Card progression system
Teamwork is necessary, but also feels good
Bosses are interesting challenges

Cons:
Sound design of enemies is poor/non-existent. You have to play with subtitles on to see (not hear) threats are coming outside of a few exceptions like the hag
Specials visually are not dynamic, it would be difficult to tell based off silhouettes what type of special variant is coming at you
Specials aren't very interesting either most of them feel like bullet sponges.
Gun system doesn't make sense. Why does picking up "purple" weapons make them more powerful. Should really be a quality system where higher quality guns don't jam or are more accurate. Or something where you can customize guns/ammo at fort hope
Spawning feels extremely punishing as clearing offers no benefits as enemies can spawn from any direction

Unknown:
The level of teamwork required is quite high and makes quickplay feel not great. Playing with randoms instead of premade group is a significantly worse experience

Great game. Dynamic, difficult, every session is unique. The sounds are gorgeous. Would highly recommend

Amazing game, 10/10
Story, characterization all beautifully done. A lot of the credit has to be given to the source Witcher books which have given such beautifully fleshed out characters, but nevertheless CD Projekt Red has done an amazing job both breathing life into their characters and into the world as a whole. Cities feel like cities and the world is truly amazing. While the gameplay can be a little difficult to get into, it is a lot simpler than Witcher 2 was and is not that big of deal, once you have a bit of experience it makes more sense.

Game play is great.

One of the best games I have ever played period.
