Take a whole garlic bulb and slice off the top with a chef's knife in one motion, opposite the root stalk, about a fourth of the way down the bulb, exposing each clove
Drizzle a little olive oil on the cut
Wrap in aluminum foil and bake for 30 to 40 minutes
Let cool and then squeeze out the cloves through the cut end. It should squeeze out like toothpaste and have a similar consistency. Mix with more olive oil and salt forming a paste and brush onto toasted bread.
