Okay, I could sit here and say how fun this game is, how deep the economy simulation runs, how fun it is to, over time, grasp more of the system and how you can use it to make your businesses more efficient. How nice it is to discover all the various ways available to you to take revenge against your rivals, or even how cool it is to notice how useful your children become. If I did so, every word of it would be true, but instead, id like to just tell you the experience of my very first, quite brief game, so you can understand for yourself, just how much this game has to offer.

In my first ever game, I knew, right away, I wanted to be a rogue, a robber, specifically (as opposed to a smuggler or pickpocket). I barely knew what I was doing, and set up my little rogue encampment, and proceeded to beg, juggle and con people by reading their palms, until id earned enough money to take it to the next level, actual robbing. Me and the boys would hide behind some bushes until someone rich looking passed, then come up to them, pretend to have a weapon, and they would, most of the time, give up the money. Some of the time, they would just attack us. I quickly learned that I had to either get armor and a weapon, or get knocked out a lot.

Eventually, I learned to keep all of the gang close by when robbing, that way we could all rob people, and if someone fought back, I could send one of the others over to merc the clowns who dared to step to. We were running the cobblestone streets at that point. However, a problem kept creeping up, my boys were being summoned to trials for attacking people. These trials had penalties of real jail time. I looked at the screen of the upcoming trial and noticed that one woman, who just-so-happened to be the head of a rival dynasty, was the witness on THREE of these trials. Even by snitch terms, this was Elizabeth Warren levels of snake behavior.

So, I came to the conclusion that any self-respecting gang leader would come to. This b*tch had to get got. Not only because she was the sole witness that could put away a good chunk of my crew, but also because she was clearly doing this to get her dynasty ahead. So I had a nice clear vision of what had to be done. I would catch her the moment she left the city center, and gut her like a fish to serve as an example for anyone else who wanted to witness something. And, like Napoleon, I was not going to ask my men to do anything that I would not. They beat her viscously and left her on the ground knocked out. I pulled out my poisoned dagger and buried it in that witches chest, with relish. Her days of witnessing ♥♥♥♥ were over. Unfortunately, a guards day of witnessing was just beginning. We were seen. The guard, in much finer armor and with much nicer weapons than me or my working-class men could hope to afford, attacked us at once. Already somewhat weakened by the defensive fighting that Ms. Wormfood had put up, we were cut to ribbons and arrested. Now, I was the one on trial. I could not escape my cell to silence any more witnesses. The judges were unanimous, I was to be executed publicly. Just as quickly as it had began it had ended.

In conclusion, get this effing game.
