Isolomus boasts a really interesting art style and an interesting story. While the controls can be a bit finicky, especially when trying to position the mouse to interact with objects, it doesn’t detract significantly from the game experience. Given its price, I would definitely recommend it, as the visuals far outweigh the minor inconveniences.

I stumbled upon Fossil Corner during a sale and thought, "Why not? I love fossils." Little did I know, that I'd get hooked on matching the correct evolutionary lines the next hours. Only problem I had, was that I was constantly running out of space (the game gives you mechanis to conquer this problem though), definitely a very good game overall!

Early Access Review
So I supported the game on kickstarter, mainly because of the unique artstyle and wasn´t completely sold on the part of it being a roguelite game because that´s normally not my kind of genre.
But after playing it for a while I have to say it is pretty good so far. The artstyle is of course gorgeous and combined with the music creates a really special atmosphere. The different Vazzard characters all look amazing and leveling them actually feels important and is designed really well. Also, the enemies are quite unique and cool, hope that I´ll encounter plenty more, each had it´s own combat mechanics which made every encounter a good challenge. I also didn´t encounter any bugs until now, which I actually didn´t expect with it releasing just today. I hope that there will be some more content regarding the village (maybe some kind of progress which stays after the runs, apart from the souls) but maybe that is already implemented and I just have not reached that point yet. Also, some kind of pets or mounts coming with you in your runs would be awesome in this artstyle.
I would really recommend it and am hoping, that there will be more features, creatures and so on in future updates :)

So I am normally not really into difficult games and mainly bought this one because I really like the art of it, but was not sure, if I would actually play it.

But then I decided to give it a try and although it is pretty difficult for an unskilled person like me (especially getting all the achievments) I kinda love the gameplay, feel and art. The variation of attack patterns and differtent boss designs got me motivated enough to actually keep playing even though here and there you die quite a bit (or at least I do). And although rarely you do feel that you should not have gotten damage from an attack, the most time everything feels fluent and really statisfying. And just to say it again, I love the art, some of the bosses and maps look really outstanding.

In Summary: If you like boss fights in games, like the art of this one and are up for a challenge (or just like hard games in general) then I really think you should get this one.

After finishing all the achievments and content I guess I´ll leave a small review here.
The gameplay itself is very fun and simple. The singleplayer missions were normal to good, especially liked the second and third of the first year (magic bird and boar) and the one with the big flower , would have loved more missions with such "bosses". Unlocking all the characters and items is not really time consuming and therefore good for the multiplayer component. The multiplayer is pretty simple with two towers per team and 1-4 players in each team, but still good. Sometimes I had some small bugs, like invisible enemy healthbars for a short period or something like that. In gernerall the game is good and well worth its price.

Apart from everything allready said, here are some more things I would love to see in the future (if there are some upcoming updates):
-better achievments, some more small ones in between, for example one for every completed year of the missions, or for 5 & 10 won multiplayer matches and so on. Especially the 100 deaths were really annoying in the end, to be honest
-more singleplayer missions, especially the ones with "animal" bosses, as said above would be cool
-more maps for multiplayer :)

Ninja Tycoon has a realy interesting strategy concept, but also some small problems (at least in my opinion). Let´s start with the positive aspects:
-good base building
-cool ninja animations
-good tutorial
-good mission system

Unfortunately it also has some "not-so-good" aspects:
-realy annoying bugs (I got 5 in total, 2 in the arcade mode (once at 17,000 time survived I just couldn´t click anything anymore and once at 22,000 the Game just crashed) and some more in the normal mode
-the game kind of lacks in depth, after buidling enough to survive, the strategy aspect is nearly gone

In summary I would recommend the game, the bugs are probably going to be fixed anyway, so it will be a good strategy game in the future. But there are still some things I would really like to see in the game, I´ll just leave a few ideas here:

For the Game:
-Upgradeable buildings, to increase the production
-better information about researches and stats of the ninjas (a small textbox or something like that would be cool)
-and more of everything of course (especially buildings, ninjas & enemies :)

For the Workshop:
-a way to implement weapons which are wider than a katana like for example a scythe (but if this is unwanted, it would be fine)
-workshop enemies & buildings (maybe with customisable stats, but even without it would be great)

Really good monster taming RPG. The turn bases combat is very well made and I enjoy it pretty much. I am still at the beginning of the game, so I can´t say much about the story (I will probably update this, when I have played enough), but already saw some cool monsters and had some good fights. The graphics and the sound of the game are also both very good, so nothing to complain there :)

Would love to have some dlc´s or patches coming, because it´s a really good game. There are only some small things I would like to see which aren´t already included in the game right now , like mounts (or another way to move around faster), steam trading cards and rotation of the camera, but they were all allready named in the community hub, let´s see if they will make it in the game :)

Conclusion: I would give it a really good rating, because the game is good and the critiques I have on this game are really small. So I recommend this game to anyone who likes monster taming games or just wants a decent turn based strategy game.
