what a lovely, ingenious thing. play this immediately.

extremely clever game, constantly reframes your view of what it is.

You can see the game it wants to be, the game it would have been if it had a bigger budget and more time to bake. I still enjoyed it in spite of that - the story does some interesting stuff in the back half, and it makes me wish there were more controller-based RTS games out there. Game had enough vibes to pull me through, and it runs great on Steam Deck.

great intro to the series, great story, tons of side stuff, you can win a chicken from bowling a turkey and let it manage your real estate empire. what's not to like?
