If you bought this game for the Machine Girl songs alone, you'd be happy with your purchase. BUT on top of that, the gameplay is TIGHT and fun. Makes you feel like a speedrunner, even when you're just completing a normal level.
The day to day sections are pretty cringe and full of anime tropes, but you can honestly just skip them and go right back to ninjaing your fastest times out of the levels.

A criminally underrated game, and the best arena shooter to have come out in the last decade. Champions all feel balanced and unique. Maps are fun, combat is fast, gore is over the top. Only gripe is the gap in experience. We have 20 year quake veterans just demolishing new players, and it's killing the community.

Overall fantastic.

This game is one helluva dungeon crawler.
Tons of items, creepy bosses, and levels that are tough as nails.
Plus, plenty of cartoon gore, and adult humor.
One of the best games I own.
